DESCRIPTION:Die Bibliothek des AIP ist 302 Jahre alt. Zu ihrem Bestand zäh
 len unter anderem wertvolle Bände aus dem 15. - 18. Jahrhundert\, astrono
 mische Karten und Atlanten sowie wertvolle astronomische Instrumente. Im M
 ai 2002 konnte die Bibliothek des AIP in ihr neues Gebäude einziehen\, da
 s mit modernster Bibliothekstechnik ausgestattet wurde. Dieses Gebäude be
 herbergte bis 1945 ein Spiegelteleskop und ist somit zur Hälfte ein Rundb
 au. Deshalb verfügt die Bibliothek über eine Kuppel mit einer Lesegaleri
 e und 360° Rundblick über Potsdam und Babelsberg.\n\nwww.aip.de
